Escorts Limited has announced the strengthening of its senior management with the appointment of Lalit Kumar Pahwa, who as Business Head of Auto Suspension Product Division will focus exclusively on the growth and profitability of the division and will lead the Escorts team in enhancing products and technology programs. A mechanical engineer with an MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (Pune), Mr Pahwa has over 15 years of experience in the Engineering, Automation and Manufacturing industry. In his previous assignment, Mr Pahwa was the Managing Director of TAL Manufacturing Solutions Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of TATA Motors Ltd., where he played a key role in the turnaround of the company. His last assignment was as Managing Director and Country Head of American Axle & Manufacturing, a world leader in design, engineering, testing, validation and manufacturing of driveline, drive train and chassis systems, related components, and metal formed products Announcing the appointment, Rajan Nanda, chairman of Escorts Limited said, “With the growth potential, visible for both the railways and auto components business, it was imperative to have two independent heads for both the divisions.
